e20danza promotes the culture of dance and access to its practice.
It integrates dance programmes with activities for the development and practice of critical thinking, theoretical and practical programs for the activation of soft skills, building initiatives aimed at intercultural and intergenerational dialogue, and for social change.

The association contributes to the processes of social cohesion, welcoming people of different ages and cultural backgrounds into its educational courses and artistic initiatives. In a peripheral area between two rich provinces in north-eastern Italy, Vicenza and Verona, it represents one of the few places where cultural activities are practised and are accessible with continuity and regularity.

With a system of benefits and care for interpersonal relationships, e20danza actively develops cultural welfare actions, enhancing individual and collective paths and introducing initiatives aimed at allowing people to explore and develop their potential.

Along with artists’ development regular courses, e20danza conducts dance practices for cancer survivors and contributes to the development of initiatives for people living with Parkinson’s, adolescents with depressive pathologies, visual impairment and prisoners in detention institutions.
With a decade of international experience, its founders have contributed to the development of Dance Well – movement research for Parkinson’s in collaboration with the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa, participating as trainers in the educational courses for teachers of the practice recognised by the WHO, in 2019, among the most relevant artistic initiatives.

e20 danza develops initiatives in museums and historical and architectural sites, building multisensory practices for access and dialogue with cultural and artistic heritage.

The founders and members of e20danza actively contribute to the artistic practices, research and development of programs.
They believe that dance is a human right and the art form that connects people to their bodies and humanity the most.
