Museum Moves<\/strong>, a project promoted by e20danza together with the Municipality of Vicenza, the Museums of Vicenza and ULSS 8 Berica, and supported by the Fondazione Banca Popolare di Marostica \u2013 Volksbank, brings dance practices into Vicenza\u2019s civic museums<\/strong> (already active for a year with Future Moves, the project dedicated to teenagers). It offers classes for groups of adults, in particular for people living with Parkinson\u2019s, their families and caregivers, with the aim of fostering wellbeing, social interaction and cultural participation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The rooms of Palazzo Chiericati are transformed into spaces dedicated to dance: the free one\u2011hour sessions, open to all, will offer an experience of movement, creativity and connection with the artistic heritage, guided by experienced artists<\/strong>. Dance sessions in the museum provide a unique opportunity for self\u2011expression and for enhancing physical and emotional wellbeing, creating a safe space in which to socialise, share experiences and feel part of a community. The project also involves dance artists, museum staff, scientists and researchers, thus activating a multidisciplinary context and experimenting with inclusive ways of engaging with both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

Museum Moves builds on the experience of e20danza and its professionals<\/strong>, whose practices are also recognised by the World Health Organization: Michela Negro and Simone Baldo, co\u2011founders of e20danza and teachers of dance practices for Parkinson\u2019s; Roberto Casarotto, co\u2011director of Aerowaves and creator of projects that connect dance and health; Giovanna Garzotto, dancer, teacher and dance maker; Greta Pieropan, dance dramaturg, researcher and consultant for community projects; and Luisella Carnelli, senior researcher at Fondazione Fitzcarraldo. The practice is designed to create a bridge between art, science and community, demonstrating how dance can act as a vehicle for social and cultural transformation.<\/p>\n

With Museum Moves, Vicenza reaffirms the role of its museums as living, open places capable of generating wellbeing, inclusion and new forms of cultural participation. It is an invitation to rethink the museum as a space for encounter, research and community, where culture becomes accessible, shared and profoundly human.<\/p>\n
