e20danza<\/strong> collaborates with the World Health Organisation<\/strong> in the project Dance for Healthy Longevity in the Eastern Partnership<\/em>: Training of Trainers on Arts and Health Interventions for Older Adults and people living with Parkinson’s in Armenia and Moldova<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within the framework of the EU-funded programme “Support for Health Resilience in the Eastern Partnership”, the World Health Organisation\/Europe is implementing the Building Arts Capacity for Health (BACH) initiative to strengthen the use of evidence-informed arts and health approaches across the Eastern Partnership countries.<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to build national capacity for implementing arts and health interventions and to generate local evidence on the feasibility, acceptability and potential benefits of dance-based interventions for healthy ageing in Armenia and for healthy aging and people living with Parkinson’s in Moldova. It is developed in collaboration with the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia (NCDC) and with Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Art, Neurology Society, Pain Management Association, CASMED in Moldova.<\/p>\n

Dance for Healthy Longevity in the Eastern Partnership <\/strong>is a European Union (EU) funded project taking place from October 2024 \u2013 April 2027 in Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Moldova. It is funded by the EU Commission\u2019s Directorate General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhoods (DG ENEST).<\/em><\/p>\n
